$325.00

Woven to protect the sacred and enhance primal instinct, the shark tooth offers strength to the wearer by releasing anxiety tied to relational exchanges where conflicting energy/trust may arise.

Intricately twined with silk and merino weft yarns under the Chilkat weaving tradition. Each curvilinear line is a braid that comes down the center to be capped with an antiqued silver cone. Chilkat warp thigh-spun with slivers of cedar bark fans out 1.75″ from the 1.2″ antiqued silver triangle. A single mother-of-pearl button pays homage to our grandmothers.

Twined to accompany ceremonial regalia or simply to offer an aura of regality, both indigenous and non-indigenous folk are welcome and encouraged to adorn themselves in Native-made ceremonial garb such as these earrings. These adornments are not just infused with bougie glamour but ancestral tradition and strength.

These earrings are woven following the Ravenstail tradition, and therefore have a front and back. The third photo shows the back.

If warp ends take on a life of their own and begin “tweaking out”, simply dampen them with a touch of water and hang or lie the earrings in place to dry.
