Lily and I scheduled our shared Bill Holm Center residency at the Burke Museum around the opening of our “Sisters” show at Stonington Gallery. It was a whirl-wind of a week, running down the streets between light rails and zooming through the basket collection at the Museum. Our Auntie Dee joined us on the trip, as seems to be a common occurance for these residencies, and then our Auntie Irene flew in for the Stonington opening, to drum and introduce us sisters. Our mother was represented by Stonington for many years, so the opportunity for Lily and I to do this show together was a real honor. I am so grateful to share this creative life with my sister.
